This is a long-overdue art feature project, showcasing some of my favorite artists and art pieces of all time! Also, a big THANK YOU to everyone who's featured me so far. Sorry I couldn't return the favor earlier.

- Luce is a fun girl to talk to, and talented and original artist, too. Too bad she doesn't update often. UPDATE more, girl! *pokes*

- Subtle humor and 1337 drawing sk1llz are something you rarely come across these days. DarkAngelSin's gallery has some goodies for Legacy of Kain fans, as well as a hilarious original project entitled Warrior Collision. Definitely worth checking out

- Her galleries is one of the best ones to visit if you're an Akatsuki fan [like myself]. Her comics are hilarious, and her other illustrations are definitely worth a .

- Blackinque a.k.a. Diana: one of my best drinking buddies at the Anime-Mania meetings [Gosh, how I miss those! x(] and one of the best artists I know.

Something srsly fscked up happened to me the other day.

The thingy happened on another art forum [won't give the name though], where I posted in a debate thread about "furries" or "anthro" or whatever you wish to call them -- I'm sure everyone knows what "furries" are [if you're clueless, Wikipedia can always give you a hint or two]. What I posted was something along the lines of, "I'm not really into this stuff, and sometimes it downright freaks me out. At other times, though I find it rather amusing." The next poster apparently had some existential issues, going like, "OMG ANOTHER furries HATER! OMG OMG I hope you just die!!!111emoemo"

I've seen the term "hater" being floundered around deviantART here and there, too. What I don't get is, don't these people figure out the difference between *disliking* something and *hating* it? Furries hater, fetish hater, kris wilson hater [WTF], fanart hater... Allow me to WTF over this >.< Also, allow me to reiterate that, no matter how much I dislike a particular genre / particular genres of art, that absolutely does NOT mean that I hate the art or the artist. Some people are such thick-heads >.<

I'd love to know what you folks think about this lil' issue.

Apparently, the way popular deviations are displayed on the dA front page changed... Honestly speaking, I don't really get what was wrong with the old version. Popular means POPULAR; it has nothing to do with fair exposure or anything of the sort.

'Thanks' to the new system, I've already seen a bunch of crap listed under the Popular section that doesn't even deserve the time you'd spend for one full-view.

I have nothing to lose [since I never aspired to be a popular artist on dA], but for the sake of the people whose art really shines -- and for the sake of not seeing any crap like that 'F*ck your mum' deviation on the front page every time I visit dA -- I am completely AGAINST the new system.

If you agree with me, be sure to fave the stamp below. It's a longshot, but maybe the mods will realize that this whole randomizing the 'opular' section is one srsly bad idea.

I got this idea from 's drawing here ( [link] ) -- and since I can't draw, I thought I'd give it a shot at writing a fanfic with real [*cough*] people instead. And by real people, I mean my friends here at dA!

I did something similar on ff.net a few years back, and it came out pretty much OK. This time, however, it's going to be something much more special, since I actually know most of the people who'd be interested to sign up for this lil' thingy [back then, I only wrote a story with random reviewers and LotR characters... *giggles*]
